Planned Housing Community

Housing has been identified as one of the main threats facing Union County and its expansion. According to a housing gap analysis done by Kentucky Housing Corporation, the county is currently short 500 homes. That is 500 families that want to be a part of our community but is unable to find housing. People thrive when they can live in the community they serve.
We are planning a housing development meant to mitigate this gap by building affordable, quality housing. It will be a subdivision, built section by section at Breckinridge.

We are currently getting the land surveyed, and next step is planning the building phase. We want to host a builders’ luncheon to get ideas and advise on what the neighborhood could look like. Do you work in construction and have some thoughts for us? Contact us at cholbrook@brecklegacy.org!
